Memory Verse: “O Zion, you who bring good tidings, get up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, you who bring good tidings, lift up your voice with strength, lift it up, be not afraid; say to the cities of Judah, “Behold your God” (Isa. 40:9) NKJV

Necessity Is Laid On You To Preach
1 Cor. 9:13-23
I pray that the Holy Spirit will give us understanding of this passage. Paul had to forgo his right to be fed by the people for preaching the gospel so that the gospel would not be hindered. How many of us can do this and have been doing this? He said he had nothing to boast if he preached the gospel, for whether he liked it or not, necessity was laid on him and woe was unto him if he preached not the gospel. At times, we wonder whether we the 21st century Christians are going to the same heaven with Paul by the way we handle the gospel proclamation. Are you burdened and bothered at all when a day, a week or a month passes without you preaching the gospel to someone? We have to do something quick to remedy this inaction towards preaching the gospel.
Point of Emphasis: Like Paul, become all things to all men that you may win some.
Prayer Point: Oh Lord, revive my zeal, life and burden for preaching the gospel.
