Memory Verse: These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so. (Acts 17:11) NKJV

Sanctified By The Word Daily
Jn. 17:9-19
Sanctification is the process of purifying a person through the blood of Jesus and setting him apart as holy unto God. Many people want to come to Jesus to be called Christians, but still continue to wallow in sin. That is out of consonance with God’s will. “For this is the will of God, your sanctification” (1 Thess. 4:3a). The word of God is the instrument He has provided for our sanctification. We need to allow the word of God to perform the necessary spiritual surgery in our lives – to separate out the carnal things in our lives and to burn them up. Do not read the word of God as ordinary literature book. Reflect on what you read, and take necessary and appropriate actions.
Point of Emphasis: Sanctify them by Your truth, Your word is truth.
Prayer Point: Father, let Your word which is quick and strong prune me that I may be holy unto You.
