Be Patient In Tribulation

Rom. 12:12-21

Tribulations, trials, problems, oppression, afflictions and all forms of evil are not palatable. As a matter of fact, they have been the sources of backsliding for some people. The reason is that it is not easy to be patient when one is passing through difficult moment. The truth of the matter is that in every trial, there is a lesson to learn and there is a purpose for God to have allowed it but to be able to realize the purpose, patience or endurance is needed. Therefore, patience in the face of affliction, is a Christian hallmark. This attitude differentiates Christians from unbelievers because it shows that the former have committed all things into God’s hand and God will definitely intervene. This disposition is made possible by the Holy Spirit and it’s a fruit of the Spirit which all Christians must covet.

Point of Emphasis:     Know that the testing of your faith produces patience (Jam. 1:3).

Prayer Point:              Holy Spirit, give me the grace and spirit of patience.

SOIS PATIENT DANS L’AFFLICTION

RO. 12 :12-21

Les tribulations, les épreuves, les problèmes, les oppressions, les afflictions et toutes formes de maux ne sont pas agréables. En fait, ils représentent les sources de rétrogression pour certaines personnes. La raison est que ce n’est pas facile d’être patient quand l’on traverse un moment difficile. La vérité est que dans chaque épreuve, il y a une leçon à apprendre et il y a un but pour lequel Dieu en donne libre cours ; mais afin d’être capable de réaliser cet objectif, la patience ou l’endurance est requise. Donc, la patience devant l’affliction est la marque chrétienne. Cette attitude différencie les chrétiens des non-croyants car elle montre que les premiers ont remis toutes choses dans la main de Dieu et qu’il interviendra à coup sûr. Cette disposition est rendue possible grâce au Saint-Esprit et elle est le fruit de l’Esprit que tous les chrétiens doivent convoiter.

Point essentiel : Sache que l’épreuve de ta foi produit la patience. (Ja. 1:3).
