Memory Verse: …And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And this we shall always be with the Lord (1 Thess. 4:16-17) NKJV

The Meaning Of Rapture
1 Thess. 4:16-17
We need to be know that the word “rapture” does not appear anywhere in the Bible. But it is a theological term used for a particular event through which Jesus will take His own people out of the world when he is prepared to come to the world the second time. The term rapture means the catching up of all true believers in Christ to meet the Lord in the air. It is gathering of the saints to meet with the Lord in the air. This event is the litmus test for all believers – living or dead. Once a believer makes the rapture, then he or she has a place in the kingdom, but if not the chances of making it to heaven are slim. Are you rapturable?
Point of Emphasis: Whoever misses the rapture is likely to miss heaven.
Prayer Point: Lord, I will not miss the rapture, make me rapturable.
