Salvation Comes From God
Ps. 37:34-40
There are troubles and problems in the world that have put people in bondage, making them to need a saviour or deliverer to be liberated or set free. In the course of looking for salvation, which means deliverance from bondage, sin, the Devil and flesh, many are going to people or places, who are hooking up to something else for salvation, that cannot help them. The Bible says the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord and He will deliver them. From whom are you seeking salvation – God or people? Salvation got from people is momentary but only the salvation that comes from God is sure and everlasting.
Point of Emphasis: The Lord shall save only those who trust in Him (v. 40)
Prayer Point: Lord, save me, both physically and spiritually, from all troubles.
