Observing Spiritual Disciplines
Acts 9:19-22
There are some spiritual disciplines we need both in our early Christian life and indeed throughout our lives on earth as Christians. In our text, we read that Saul spent several days with the disciples in Damascus. He joined the fellowship, he began to preach in the Synagogues which later became his habit wherever he went and there was a change in his lifestyle that unbelievers were able to testify about. Let us examine ourselves, do we follow these spiritual disciplines? Do we always attend fellowship, do we preach the gospel to bring others to Christ and does our life show to people that we are indeed changed persons? We need to repent depending on our position regarding this.
Point of Emphasis: Identify with a Christian fellowship, preach the gospel and live a holy life.
Prayer Point: Lord, help us to do those things that are pleasing to you.
