Make your Request Known Through Prayer
Num. 20:6; Phil. 4:6-7
The first and right thing to do in the face of difficulty is to talk to God about it through prayer. But in most cases, we resort to prayer as the last option after we might have done all the murmuring and expressed anxiety. Prayer works. Before you go to the person that you think can help you solve the problem, pray and commit his or her heart to God and you will see how easy and smooth the process and outcome will be. Talk to God about the problem before you talk to man. When God sees that you trust Him enough to have consulted Him first, He will do something positive to get you out of the problem.
Point of Emphasis: The fervent prayer of the righteous avails much.
Prayer Point: Lord, help me to trust You enough to pray to You first about my problem before any other person.
