Avoid Bad Friends
1 Cor. 15:33-34
Another environmental impacts on the family is the negative influences of peer-groups pressure on the children. Many Christian children have unbelievers as friends in school, who teach them wrong values. And in their own “foolishness” these children think that their friends are wiser than their parents and, therefore, heed the advice of their friends than that of their parents. Once your children start having friends, parents have the responsibility of guiding them into choosing godly friends and discouraging them from moving with children of doubtful characters. Know that children are easily influenced by those they move with if not checkmated on time.
Point of Emphasis: Be not deceived, evil communication corrupt good manners.
Prayer Point: Lord, help me to separate from all those who negatively influence me to do evil.
