The Lord Speaks To Samuel
1 Sam 3:11
Samuel was taken to the house of God at a very tender age by his mother so as to fulfil the vow she made to God when she was praying for the child. Samuel obeyed and observed all the regulations involved in the temple worship. He did not show any resentment of the choice of his mother and he did not allow the toxic lives that the two sons of Eli were living to pollute him. These good attributes of Samuel qualified him for the privilege of hearing the voice of God; he also became the messenger of God to deliver the message not only to Eli but to the entire nation of Israel and was mightily used by God.
Point Of Emphasis: God sees and knows you.
Prayer Point: Lord, please remove all hindrances that block my hearing from you. Use me for my generation to do exploits.
