Acts 15:36-41
One low point noticed in the early Christian life of Paul was his sharp disagreement with Barnabas, his friend and mentor on the issue of John Mark, following them in their missionary journey. This was a great weakness on the part of Paul who refused to give John Mark a second chance at this point in time and this disagreement led to a separation between Paul and Barnabas. This evidently was his level of maturity at this time. How mature are we, do we forgive others when they make mistakes or we insist on revenge? Let us think about this.
Point of Emphasis: Forgive even as you have been forgiven.
Prayer Point: Lord, make us instruments of your peace.
