Sin Is Doing Wickedness Before God

Deut. 9:12-19      

When Moses was giving his valedictory speech to the people of Israel , he reminded them of their sin of moulding the golden calf and declaring it as the god who brought them out of Egypt. He also called the act corruptible and wicked before the Lord. This means when anyone departs from the living God and starts worshipping anything lower than the living God or says there is no God at all or have been going to Church as a sinner and refuses to repent despite the undiluted word of God he or she hears all the time, such a person has done wickedness before God and is due for God’s wrath. Were it not for Moses’ intercession, God would have destroyed the people. What are those wicked acts in your life that can attract God’s anger and wrath? Do away with them.

Point of Emphasis:        Not knowing the living God or departing from Him is a grievous sin. 

Prayer Point:            Lord, help me not to serve anything else apart from You.

PECHER C’EST FAIRE CE QUI EST MAL AUX YEUX DE L’ETERNEL

DE. 9 :12-19

Quand Moïse faisait son discours d’adieu au peuple d’Israël, il leur rappela de leur péché de modeler un veau en fonte en le déclarant comme étant leur dieu qui les fit sortir d’Egypte. Il traita aussi cet acte de corruptible et de méchant devant le Seigneur. Cela signifie que quand quelqu’un s’écarte du Dieu vivant et commence à adorer n’importe quelle chose inferieure au Dieu vivant ou dit qu’il n’y a point de Dieu ou va continuellement à l’église comme pécheur et refuse de se repentir malgré la parole pure de Dieu qu’il écoute tout le temps, une telle personne a fait ce qui est mal devant Dieu et s’expose ainsi à la colère de Dieu. . N’eut été l’intercession de Moïse, Dieu aurait exterminé le peuple. Quels sont ces actes de méchanceté dans ta vie qui peuvent t’attirer la colère et la fureur de Dieu ? Abolis-les !

Point essentiel : C’est un péché grave que de ne pas connaître Dieu et de se détourner du Dieu vivant.

Axe de prière : Seigneur, aide-moi à ne point servir autre chose que toi.
