Baptism Unites Believers
1 Cor. 12:12-14
One of the things baptism does is that it unites the body of Christ together. The body of Christ is the Church and in that body there are many members, just as there are many people in the Church from different walks of life, nationalities, races, languages and backgrounds. However, if we have all been truly baptised by the same Spirit into the body of Christ, we must see ourselves as members of the same family, there must be no segregation or ethnic division among us. Rather our baptism must unite us together and help us to function in different capacity for the sustenance and growth of the body of Christ, which is the Church of God.
Point of Emphasis: For by one Spirit are we all baptised into one body.
Prayer Point: Help me Lord to live in unity with my brethren for the growth of the Church of God.
