FOCUS: OVERCOMING BARRIERS TO OUR SPIRITUAL, FINANCIAL AND NUMERICAL GROWTH

TEXT: HEBREW 12: 12- 13

INSIGHT FOR EFFECTIVE PRAYER

We are not stagnant but moving at a snail speed and it is a dangerous condition that calls for serious and urgent action of every member of this household of faith.

Heb 12: 12-13 wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way, but let it rather be healed.

Barriers to our spiritual growth are many

Shift in focus from spiritual to the worldly things; even preachers have mellow-down the strong and dynamic messages of the old, by this, members are not growing strong enough to win others to the Lord. This has affected the numerical growth of the Church. It is only strong believers that can witness effectively to sinners, visit and follow up new converts to increase the total adherents of the Church. The Church is financially poor not because there is no money but for lack of commitment from members. They are finding it too hard to trust God with their possessions, can you?

What are the barriers? We are the barriers, when we unable to work on ourselves and wake up from slumbering. We need to overcome all barriers to our spiritual, financial and numerical growth. This will enable us to experience another time of great revival.

PRAYER POINTS

1. O God, you are faithful, the fault is ours, forgive us in Jesus name.
2. Every spiritual set back against GOFAMINT, expire now in Jesus Name.
3. Every assembly of GOFAMINT, receive fresh fire of Holy-Spirit for accelerating in growth.
4. You Spirit attached with to barriers, be bound in Jesus name.
5. O God, open our spiritual eyes to see what should be corrected in GOFAMINT and in our lives in Jesus name
6. God, let every GOFAMINT assembly begin to grow spiritually.
7. God, let every GOFAMINT assembly begin to grow financially.
8. God, let every GOFAMINT assembly begin to grow numerically.
9. Every secret sin that can disturb growth, be exposed in Jesus name
10. You, GOFAMINT, will overcome your barriers this year and be destined for surprise growth in all areas in Jesus name.
