Called To Be An Ambassador
2 Cor 5: 18-21
Just like Paul, God has called you to be an ambassador to the world. He has given you the ministry of delivering his message to the unsaved world. No greater call could ever be issued. No higher position could ever be held. Two significant points (i) you are given the greatest of message, the message of reconciliation to God (ii) you are given the highest of titles as an ambassador for Christ. Four things are always true about an ambassador, which you must note.
You belong to the one who sent you out
You are commissioned to be sent out
You possess all the authority and power of the one who sent you out
You are sent forth with the message of the sender. The message is not your own.
Point of Emphasis: As believers, we are Christ’s ambassadors.
Prayer points: O Lord, help me not to take my responsibility lightly as an ambassador.
