God Will Not Share His Glory With Anybody
Isa. 48:1-11
The Bible declares that God is a jealous God (Exo. 20:5; 34:14), and in Isaiah, He declares that He will not share his glory with anyone. This is to tell you how jealously God is guarding His glory. Anyone who now decides to rob God of His glory will not be held guiltless by God. One of the mistakes of Moses was that he shared God’s glory or drew God’s glory to himself and Aaron when he said “Must we bring water for you out of this rock? (Num. 20:10). What he was saying in essence was that it was Aaron and himself that would do the miracles and not God. Ministers and children of God should beware of this error.
Point of Emphasis: Give God the glory due to His name.
Prayer Point: Lord, help me not to rob You of Your glory in my walk with You.
