Half Obedience Is Disobedience
Num. 20:9-11
Moses trusted God for direction and God instructed him on what to do to get the problem solved. However, Moses, because of anger, did not carry out God’s instruction to the details. He missed a step, which made God angry with him. How many times has God given you instruction on what to do and you have either not followed the instruction at all, or altered it to suit your plan, or misinterpreted it? All these are dangerous and God will count it as half obedience, which to Him is disobedience. If you know that you will not do whatever God tells you, don’t bother Him asking for guidance. Therefore, obey God’s Word to the last letter.
Point of Emphasis: Disobedience or rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft (1 Sam. 15:23)
Prayer Point: Lord, help me to always do whatever You say I should do.
