DAY 12: FRIDAY, 13TH JANUARY, 2017

FOCUS: FAITH FOR A NEW SEASON OF FAVOUR AND HONOUR INSTEAD OF LABOUR

TEXTS: Psalms 102:13, Eccl. 9:11

Insight FOR Effective and fervent Prayers

The favour of God can bring you out of your difficulties and turn your adversities around for good. David said, “The favour of God keeps my enemies from triumphing over me.” (Psalm 41:11). The Bible is filled with examples of people, who were in great need, but then the favour of God came on them in a new way, and their situations turned around. Think about Noah facing the greatest challenge of his life. The whole earth was about to be destroyed by a flood, and God gave him the enormous job of building a huge ship for the gathering of human beings and animals. No doubt, Noah was tempted to get discouraged. Yet amazingly, the Bible says, “Noah found favour in the sight of God.” In other words, God was pleased with Noah, so the favour of God came upon him in afresh and in new way, giving him unusual ability. God assisted him, and he was able to build that ark to save his family, the animals, and himself.

When you know that the favour of God is upon you, it is much easier to live in confidence. It is knowing that God will honour His word, because He is watching over the fulfilment of His words. He is a God who does not change. He is a God who does not lie. He will not violate His will. Whatever He says, He will do. In fact “He who began a good work in us will be faithful to complete it” Be bold! Keep declaring and expecting the favour of God. You know deep down inside of you that you have an advantage. You have an edge. You may now ask things that you normally don’t ask. Say something like this “Thank You Lord for the favor that is on the way. Thank You for opening doors of opportunity for me. Thank You Lord for the wonderful financial blessings You are bringing into my life. Thank You that people will come to my help. Thank You that people will treat me well. Thank You that You are giving me complete healing”. Declare the favour of God in every area of your life, be it your business, family, and friends, because the favour of God is upon you. See yourself as God sees you — moistened clay ready to be moulded by His hand and used for His purpose – Declare for yourself: ‘We are a chosen generation, called forth to show His excellence…… I’m walking in power, walking in miracles, I live a life of favour, I know who I am.’

LET US PRAY

I release the fire of the Holy Spirit to consume all powers of darkness tampering with my divine favour or bright future
I cover myself with the blood of Jesus and Holy Ghost fire for my favour and future to remain intact
I come against all shadows of darkness that follow me around. I rebuke them and cast them to fire in Jesus name.
Job 28:3 declares “He setteth an end to darkness, and searcheth out all perfection: the stones of darkness and the shadow of death”. O Lord, end all darkness around me, destroy stones of darkness and shadow of death that pursues me.
Let the light of God continually shine before me in Jesus name.
I rise against every spiritual veil from power of darkness, covering my divine favour in Jesus name.
Oh Lord, anoint me with oil of gladness continually for Your word says in Ps. 45:7 “Thou loveth righteousness and hateth wickedness; therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with oil of gladness above thy fellows”.
I command sorrow, bitterness, failure, disappointment, hatred, shame and ill luck to disappear from my life as the oil of gladness continue to flow.
Zech 2:5 “For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in her midst”. I place my life, family, home, business, office, money, ministry and all other belongings within God’s wall of fire for maximum protection in Jesus name.
O Lord, I walk today into Your open doors of breakthrough and favour for my life and I declare this is my “kairos” time for favour (Psalms 102:13)
I ask You Lord Jesus to be my personal door for divine favour (John 10:9).
O Lord, take off the yoke of Satan and his agents from my neck and every burden from my shoulder.
I command the destruction upon every yoke of hatred, sorrow, disappointment, shame and misfortune by fire in Jesus name.
I nullify all curses placed on my properties and belongings, and I destroy by the Holy Ghost fire any property that gives Satan/demons right of occupancy.
O Lord, anoint me with divine favour as I enter into my set time now!
Let Your angels of goodness and mercy follow me, as I put on the garments of divine favour henceforth.
O Lord, light the candle of my life (Ps. 18:28) and thank You so much for favouring me.
