Identify And Meet The Needs Of Your Ministers
2 Kgs. 4:8-17
This rich woman in Shunem was a natural giver who constrained Elisha to eat bread in her house. She literally begged the man of God to be eating in her house. As times went on, she told her husband that they should provide accommodation for the man of God. We have lots of lessons to learn from this woman. We should study our ministers and their families to identify whatever needs they have and meet such needs. It is not proper for ministers to suffer while they are serving in congregation while there are well- to- do members in such a church. To the glory of God, because this woman identified and met the need of the man of God, her own need of barrenness was also met by God.
